Sarasota To Swear In 5 New Police Officers

SARASOTA, FL — Five new Sarasota police officers will be sworn in Friday at police headquarters.

Sarasota Police Chief Bernadette DiPino will administer the oath to the new officers in the second floor community room. The police department is located at 2099 Adams Lane.

"Family, friends, community members and media are welcome to attend and asked to arrive by 1:45 p.m. so the ceremony can begin on time," explained the agency's Genevieve Judge.

The ceremony begins at 2 p.m.

The following officers will join the Sarasota Police Department under 2nd Class Probation:

• Nicholas Carlone
• Jarrod Chapman
• Johnathan Decker
• Ashley Folescu
• Maximilian Piorkowski
