SARASOTA, FL – Planning a beach trip? Why not try a local restaurant at the same time. Savor Sarasota is back for its 20th season and Visit Sarasota County has big plans for this season. This summer’s milestone celebration runs through June 20, giving diners a chance to explore Sarasota’s vibrant restaurant scene.

Participating restaurants are offering specially created prix-fixe menus featuring two-course lunches for $25 and three-course dinners for $45 per person. Sarasota’s creative chefs have crafted appetizers, entrées, and desserts for diners to indulge their inner foodie.

Many participating restaurants are also offering upgrade dishes to take their dining experiences
to the next level, along with signature cocktails and wine pairings. This year’s 20th Annual Savor Sarasota gives residents, visitors, and day-trippers the perfect excuse to come out and explore more than 60 restaurants.

“For twenty years, Savor Sarasota has brought people together around the table,” said Erin Duggan, President of Visit Sarasota County. “What started as a way to support our restaurants during the summer has grown into one of the most anticipated food events in the area. Our chefs continue to inspire with their creativity and heart, and this celebratory season is the perfect time to experience everything they bring to the table.”

New for this year is the Savor Sarasota Flavor Trail — a mobile-powered passport that helps diners explore the participating restaurants and their prix-fixe menus. The free digital pass is delivered instantly via text and email with no app to download.
