Siesta Key No. 2 on Trip Advisor's Best Beaches List
Siesta Key Public Beach in Sarasota came in second on the 2013 list of best beaches in the U.S., as determined by the users of tripadvisor.com.
Siesta Key Public Beach is home to the second-best beach in the United States, according to the users of tripadvisor.com.
The Sarasota beach came in at No. 2 on Trip Advisor's Travelers' Choice 2013 awards, finishing behind Ka'anapali Beach in Hawaii.
“Fantastic walking beach," is how one user described Siesta Key.

Siesta Key finished first in Dr. Beach's Top 10 Beach List for 2011.
A few other Tampa Bay area beaches also made the cut in Trip Advisor's list this year: Fort De Soto Park in Tierra Verde (No. 4), Caladesi Island State Park in Dunedin (No. 12), Pass-a-Grille in St. Pete Beach (No. 15) and Clearwater Beach (No. 18).
