Siesta Key N. Bridge Reopens After Getting Stuck Open: Sarasota Police

SARASOTA, FL — The Siesta Key North Bridge reopened after getting stuck open Thursday evening, causing major traffic delays, the Sarasota Police Department wrote in a Facebook post.

Police initially unsure when the bridge would function again at the time it got stuck around 6:45 p.m.

The bridge has reopened to drivers, who no longer need to seek alternate routes, but are asked to drive safely.
