Missing Sarasota Couple Found

Sarasota County deputies say a husband and wife that were reported missing have been found.

SARASOTA, FL — Update April 27, 5:04 p.m.: Just after announcing Silver Alerts for a missing Sarasota couple, deputies said the husband and wife had been found. The two were reportedly safe and back home just after 5 p.m. April 27.

Earlier: Silver Alerts have been issued for a missing husband and wife who haven’t been heard from since 2 p.m. Thursday.

According to the Sarasota County Sheriff’s Office, Morton and Patricia Pasternack may be driving a 2003 silver Chevrolet four-door sedan with Florida tag number I777PA on it.

“The couple may have their two dogs with them, as well,” an email from the sheriff’s office said. Both dogs are poodles.

The sheriff’s office is asking anyone who spots the two or their car to contact 911 immediately.

“They both suffering from dementia,” the agency’s email reported.

Further information about the Pasternacks, who live in Sarasota, is not yet available.
