MANATEE COUNTY, FL — The northbound lanes of the Sunshine Skyway Bridge will close to drivers Sunday from 3:30 to 11 a.m. for a 10K race, according to a Florida Highway Patrol news release.

About 8,000 runners will participate in the annual Skyway 10K, which benefits the Armed Forces Families Foundation.

During the race, northbound motorists will be detoured from I-275 onto U.S. Highway 41, FHP said.
