Police are warning homeowners to keep doors locked and to be watchful.
Police are warning residents in St. Armands Circle to be careful to keep their homes locked, after there have been reports that someone is burglarizing homes.
According to Sarasota Police, the suspect or suspects are looking for unlocked doors but also prying open sliding glass doors.
The burglaries date back to November 2012. Jewelry often is taken.
