Starbucks Giving Away Free Espresso: Reminder

SARASOTA, FL — As Starbucks continues its effort to spread goodwill over the holiday season, more “Pop-Up Cheer Parties” are popping up in the Tampa Bay area.

During the campaign, dubbed 10 Days of Cheer, Starbucks is giving away free tall espressos at select locations through Jan. 2. Over the course of the 10-day promotion, Starbucks intends to host 1,000 Pop-Up Cheer Parties nationwide. The parties will take place at 100 locations across the country a day.

On Wednesday, Dec. 28, parties were announced for two locations in West Central Florida. Parties will take place from 1 to 2 p.m. at these stores:

• Sarasota – 3751 Bee Ridge Road
• Riverview – 3715 U.S. Highway 301

A total of 100 new locations will be announced each day through Jan. 2. Parties are set to take place from 1 to 2 p.m. daily through the promotion. The locations for each day of the event can be found on Starbucks' website and Twitter with the hashtags #FindCheer #10daysofcheer. So check the list every day to see if the Starbucks location closest to you makes the free drink offer.

Customers who stop by the pop-up parties will also receive a “cheer card.” This provides discounts on drinks, lunch items and more during the 10 Days of Cheer.
