Stolen Wallets, Laptops Recovered After Arrest

The Sarasota County Sheriff's Office arrested Aaron "Lala" Graham, of 3013 McCloud Circle, after deputies responded to the 6300 block of Beechwood Avenue for a reported burglary.

A 22-year-old Sarasota resident is facing rock cocaine possession and loitering charges and could possibly face burglary charges following his arrest Tuesday evening.

The Sarasota County Sheriff's Office arrested Aaron "Lala" Graham, of 3013 McCloud Circle, after deputies responded to the 6300 block of Beechwood Avenue for a reported burglary.

Deputies found Graham alone inside a green 2001 Hyundai Sonata saying that his brother was taking his girlfriend home to retrieve items and that he was "forbidden to see the girl and that is why she was parked" waiting for them to return. Graham considers himself to be a female, according to the sheriff's office, but is being processed as a male at this time.

The deputies couldn't find anyone else, and following a search of the car found more than a dozen pieces of rock cocaine, laptops, GPS units, an iPad, checkbook, wallets, purses and more, according to the sheriff's office.

The recovered property was connected to two additional burglary investigations, according to the sheriff's office.
