Stop Signs Recommended For 5 County Intersections

Sarasota County Commissioners will consider Tuesday installing stop signs at five intersections in the county.

The intersections are:

• Southbound North Osprey Avenue at 57th Street

• Beneva Lane at Southland Drive

• Elmer Street (two) at Lockwood Ridge Road

• Campbell Street (two) at Lockwood Ridge Road

• Maple Hollow Court at Milton Drive

The county's Traffic Advisory Council recommended those intersections for stop signs following the council's June meeting.
