Thunder By The Bay Roars Into Sarasota Fairgrounds

The 21st Thunder By the Bay Music & Motorcycle Festival​ roars into the Sarasota Fairgrounds over the long Presidents Day weekend.

SARASOTA, FL -- The 21st Thunder By the Bay Music & Motorcycle Festival roars into the Sarasota Fairgrounds over the long Presidents Day weekend.

The event runs from Friday through Sunday and features 10 musical acts, FMX & BMX stunt riders, 140 vendors and an 18-class motorcycle show, according to event organizers.

Featured headliner for this year’s festival is national recording artist SteelHeart performing at 8
pm Saturday. SteelHeart is known for songs that include “Angel Eyes” (I'll Never Let
You Go), “Everybody Loves Eileen”, “She's Gone” as well being the voice of Mark Walberg
singing hits from the movie Rockstar such as “Stand Up And Shout” and “We All Die Young”.

"Tented seating will be available, however, guests are encouraged to bring their lawn chairs and
enjoy this year’s entertainment featuring a wide variety of genres to include blues, rock, and
country," organizers explained.

Ray Vaughan Tribute), In The Light of Led Zeppelin, Diary of an Ozzman (Ozzy Osbourne
Tribute), along with local bands such as Maiden Cane and The Verge.

The event also features $5,000 in cash prizes, a “People’s Choice” LED motorcycle show, a first-time “All Vehicle Charity Ride” with $4,000 in cash prizes.
