A Florida Highway Patrol trooper already under scrutiny for his arrests faces a lawsuit from a Sarasota man charged with DUI, though three separate tests later showed no traces (0.00) of alcohol or drugs in his system.

3.) Horse Dies in Barn Collapse From Tornado

Eight tornadoes were spotted in Florida, while Tropical Storm Andrea visited  southwest Florida on Thursday, June 6. One tornado hit Myakka City, destroying barns and killing a horse.

4.) Coast Guard Saves Boater During Storm

Boating during a Tropical Storm? The Coast Guard rescued a boater whose craft was about to hit the Cortez Road Bridge during Tropical Storm Andrea. The Coast Guard released a video of the near crash.

5.) 9/11 Families Seek Documents on Saudis From Sarasota

A coalition of more than 6,000 families who lost loved ones on Sept. 11, 2001, urged the FBI to disclose its investigation into the activities of a Saudi couple who abruptly moved out of their Sarasota home a week before the attacks.
