Was Ray Pilon's Heat Joke Appropriate? (Video)
After Florida Rep. Ray Pilon calls for a medic for a woman in distress, says that it's hot because crowd is fired up for Romney.
Was what Rep. Ray Pilon said Thursday afternoon at the Gov. Mitt Romney rally an unfortunate segue or not a big deal? Your call.
The heat and humidity plus body heat caused the rally at the Ringling Museum to be uncomfortable for some, as several people were treated for heat-related illnesses or falls throughout the day.
During Pilon's speech, he alertly heard the crowd call for a medic, and used his mic to call over the attention of medical personnel to the front row as a woman was having heat-related issues.

Pilon attempted to segue from making sure a woman is receiving medical attention to saying that it's so hot out because the crowd is "fired up" for Mitt Romney.
"We need a medic in the front row," Pilon said. "And it is hot out here, folks. You know why it's really hot? Cause you're fired up. This campaign's fired up, and we're going to stay fired up."

Pilon, who represents District 69, will run for District 72 this year due to redistricting. Whether this will be used by his opponet Democrat Liz Alpert or as a blip in a race remains unseen.
Or at least, this just could be your Daily Show Moment of Zen.
