SARASOTA, FL — A water main break shut down a section of Clark Road in Sarasota just ahead of Tuesday’s evening rush hour, officials said.

The two inside lanes of Clark Road from Beneva Road east to Mirror Lake Road are closed, according to a Sarasota County news release.

The Florida Department of Transportation has been notified of the water main break, the county said.
