Woman Found Unresponsive On FL Beach, Possible Drowning Investigated
An elderly woman's death on a Longboat Key beach is being investigated as a possible drowning, reports said.
LONGBOAT KEY, FL — An elderly woman was found unresponsive on the beach near The Resort at Longboat Key Club on Tuesday evening, ABC 7 reported.
Longboat Key police officers responded to 220 Sand Point Road around 5:45 p.m., WFLA said.
First responders performed CPR on the woman, who died at the scene.
