Work Begins On Casey Key Road Hurricane Damage: Sarasota County
A portion of Casey Key Road in Nokomis will be closed as work begins on damage caused by Hurricane Idalia, Sarasota County said.

NOKOMIS, FL — A portion of Casey Key Road in Nokomis will be closed as work begins on damage caused by Hurricane Idalia at the end of August.
The roadway, between 2110 and 2120 Casey Key Road, will be closed Monday through Oct. 29 for shoreline stabilization, according to a Sarasota County news release.
Detours will be in place for those entering and leaving the area.

Casey Key Road and Manasota Key Road were among the hardest-hit areas in the county during the hurricane.
