10 Florida HS Grads To Play In Super Bowl 58: List

FLORIDA — Super Bowl 58 is shaping up to be a memorable one with megastars such as Patrick Mahomes, Christian McCaffrey, Brock Purdy and Travis Kelce — not to mention, ahem, Taylor Swift — all on display.
Joining them at the big game on Feb. 11: Ten players who graduated from high schools in Florida, who will face off on opposing teams. They are:
- Tommy Townsend, punter, Boone High School in Orlando, Chiefs
- Marquez Valdes-Scantling, wide receiver, Lakewood High School, Chiefs
- Richie James, wide receiver, Riverview High School in Sarasota, Chiefs
- Deon Bush, safety, Columbus High School in Miami, Chiefs
- Chamarri Conner, Trinity Christian Academy in Jacksonville, Chiefs
- Jawaan Taylor, offensive tackle, Cocoa High School, Chiefs
- Ray-Ray McCloud III, wide receiver, Sickles High School, 49ers
- Robert Beal Jr., defensive lineman, IMG Academy, 49ers
- Jon Feliciano, center, Western High School in Davie, 49ers
- Nick Bosa, defensive end, St. Thomas Aquinas in Fort Lauderdale, 49ers

This year, Florida and Texas are the best represented, with 10 players each hailing from those two states alone, according to a list compiled by highschoolfootballamerica.com. Nine players went to Georgia high schools, eight came from Michigan high schools, and seven came from California.
Mahomes attended Whitehouse in Texas, McCaffery attended Valor Christian in Colorado, Purdy attended Gilbert Perry High in Arizona, and Kelce went to Cleveland Heights in Ohio.

And if you were wondering, Swift attended a public high school in Hendersonville, Tennessee, for two years, and later transferred to Aaron Academy, a private Christian school that offers home-schooling and better accommodated her touring schedule.
