16-Year-Old Girl Shot In Road-Rage Incident: Hillsborough Sheriff
One person has been arrested in a road-rage shooting that injured a 16-year-old girl in Hillsborough County, the sheriff's office said.
TAMPA, FL — An arrest has been made in the road-rage shooting that injured a 16-year-old girl in Hillsborough County, officials said.
Rasool Kakeem, 37, admitted to fire his gun twice during the incident on Thursday, the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office said.
He was charged with two counts of attempted murder with a firearm causing great bodily harm in the second degree and one count of shooting at or into a vehicle.

The shooting happened on South Falkenburg Road around 5 p.m. when Kakeem fired at another vehicle during an altercation, the sheriff’s office said.
One of the bullets hit the teenage girl. Both drivers were uninjured in the incident.

"To discharge your firearm at another vehicle is simply reckless," Sheriff Chad Chronister said. "This suspect had no regard for human life during this completely avoidable interaction."
