2 GOP Incumbents Pull Ahead In Hillsborough Commission Races: SOE

A third Republican candidate also took the lead in a third Hillsborough County Commission race, unofficial results show.

HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY, FL — Two Republican incumbents and a third GOP candidate pulled ahead in three HIllsborough County Commission races Tuesday night, according unofficial results from the Hillsborough County Supervisor of Elections office.

In District 2, Ken Hagan, won 55.13 percent of the vote while his opponent, Democrat Patricia Altagracia Alonzo, earned 44.87 percent, unofficial results show.

Christine Miller pulled ahead in the District 4 race with 58.22 percent of the vote, unofficial results said. Her opponents, Democrat Nicole Payne and Matthew Taylor, who ran with no party affiliation, took home 36.35 percent and 5.43 percent of the vote, respectively.

In District 6, Chris Boles earned 52.13 percent of the vote while his opponent, Democrat Sean Shaw, won 47.87 percent, according to unofficial results.
