2 Teens Injured In Tampa Shooting
Tampa Police are investigating a Wednesday afternoon shooting that sent two teenagers to the hospital.

TAMPA, FL — The Tampa Police Department is investigating a Wednesday afternoon shooting that sent two teenagers to the hospital. One of the teens reportedly suffered minor injuries, but the other has more extensive wounds.
According to police, multiple 911 calls came into the agency around 1:22 p.m. March 8 about a shooting in the 6700 block of Shadeville Lane. When officers arrived on the scene, they found two victims, ages 16 and 17, suffering from gunshot wounds.
One of the teens was shot in the ankle, an email from the police department said. The other “sustained at least one gunshot wound to the abdomen and another to the arm.” A condition report is not yet available.

Police have not yet released the victims’ identities, but have said the shooting does not appear to be random.
Witnesses in the area say a silver Toyota was seen leaving the area right after the shooting.
