ICYMI: 3 Tampa Bay Eateries Named Among America’s Hottest

One Tampa establishment and two in Sarasota have been named among the Top 100 'hot spots' in America for 2017 by OpenTable diners.

TAMPA, FL — Tampa Bay area residents who want to check out some of America’s hottest restaurants won't have to drive far to do so. Three eateries in the region have been named among OpenTable’s “Top 100 Hot Spots” in the country for 2017.

Local restaurants included on the list of 100, as voted by users of OpenTable, are:

  • Ulele – Tampa
  • Selva Grill – Sarasota
  • Shore Diner – Sarasota

“The Top 100 Hot Spot Restaurants in America list for 2017 highlights restaurants with not only delicious food and drinks, but vibrant bar scenes, live music and festive atmospheres,” OpenTable explained on its website. The list of 100 is compiled based on an analysis of more than 10 million reviews covering more than 24,000 restaurants from across the country.

OpenTable is a website that is meant to connect people with restaurants across the country and the globe. The site enables users to make reservations online while also providing them reviews and a way to leave their own feedback.

Several other Florida eateries earned recognition in the Top 100 this year. Other honorees from the Sunshine State include Bistro 821 in Naples, Buccan in Palm Beach and Kaluz Restaurant in Fort Lauderdale.
