1. Hillsborough County Fire Rescue's newest fire engine features the logos of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Lightning, and Rays. It's called ChampaBay's Fire Truck and part of Brandon's station 9. They hope it boosts morale for hard-working first-responders. (Brandon Patch)
2. St. Petersburg police say a couple was arrested after being found passed out in a truck with a 4-year-old child. Police say the couple admitted to using cocaine, fentanyl, and drinking and driving. They are now facing child neglect charges and the driver is facing a DUI. (WFLA)
3. Governor DeSantis has imposed a $5,000 fine for cities and counties that require vaccines for public employees, “for every single violation." He also called vaccine mandates an attack on first-responders. DeSantis went on to threaten "millions and millions of dollars, potentially, in fines" to cities and counties and railed against private business vaccine mandates as well. (Yahoo! News)
4. Yuengling Center will host a part-time job fair today from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. to fill positions for Amalie Arena and Yuengling Center events. Attendees will need to wear face coverings while inside Yuengling Center for in-person interviews and are encouraged to pre-apply online. (Creative Loafing Tampa)
5. St. Pete Greenhouse will host events and activities that are powered by First Citrus Bank, Duke Energy and First Home Bank in coordination with National Small Business Week. Small business owners are invited to come out and join the events. (WTSP)
