Update: Time Running Out For Food Donations At Allstate Locations

Allstate Agents across Tampa Bay are collecting food donations to help Metropolitan Ministries restock its shelves after Hurricane Irma.

TAMPA, FL – While life is slowly getting back to normal for most residents in the Tampa Bay area after Hurricane Irma, some residents are still struggling getting back on their feet.

Several Allstate agents across Tampa Bay are collecting food donations from the community through Friday, Oct. 6 to support homeless families served by Metropolitan Ministries. The most-needed items include boxed cereal, rice, canned meat, canned fruit and bottled water.

Donations can be dropped off at the Tampa nonprofit itself, located at 2002 N. Florida Ave., or at the following Allstate agency locations:

Every year, thousands of charitable organizations receive Allstate Foundation Helping Hands grants secured by Allstate agency owners and financial specialists on behalf of the nonprofits where they volunteer. The grants support organizations addressing youth empowerment, domestic violence, hunger, disaster preparedness and more.
