Ambulance Added To South Of Gandy Fire Station For Quicker Response
For the first time in more than 25 years, Tampa's South of Gandy neighborhood has an additional rescue vehicle.

TAMPA, FL — For the first time in more than 25 years, Tampa’s South of Gandy neighborhood has an additional rescue vehicle at Tampa Fire Rescue Station 19, filling a critical need for the community.
The new ambulance will help reduce response times in emergencies.
"We are thrilled to be able to provide this much-needed resource to the South of Gandy neighborhood,” Tampa Fire Rescue Chief Barbara Tripp said. “Our goal is to improve the level of service we provide to our community, and this new rescue will help us achieve that."
