Waydia Hughes used one word to describe her voting experience today in south Tampa: Seamless. "I didn't realize it would be this easy," said Hughes, a south Tampa resident who voted on Tuesday at the Jan Kaminis Platt Regional Library on Manhattan Avenue with her husband Carlos. Waydia, a nurse, and Carlos, a pastor, each had issues that drove them to the polls.  Carlos supported voting against government-funded abortion - one of 11 amendments on Florida's ballot - while Waydia had suggestions for making  ballot information more prevalent to voters. "I wish we had more time to figure out the amendments," said Waydia. "Locally, candidates need to make themselves more well-known. You see ads for (President Barack) Obama, and for (former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt) Romney, so you know what they're about." How has your experience been at the polls? Tell us in the comments.
