American Structurepoint doubles office footprint in Tampa
The architecture and engineering firm recently signed a 9,485-square-foot lease in Tampa Commons
TAMPA, Florida, April 1, 2024 – American Structurepoint, a national, full-service architecture and engineering consulting firm, has signed a 9,485-square-foot office lease at 1 N Dale Mabry Hwy. in Tampa. The firm is currently located in the Cypress Center and will double its footprint in the market with this move.
Joanne LeBlanc of Colliers represented the tenant. CBRE represented the landlord, Bridge Investment Group.
“We are committed to expanding our presence in the Tampa Bay market and needed a new flagship office to grow our workforce and attract local talent,” said American Structurepoint Chief People Officer Ben Braun. “One North Dale Mabry is an attractive location, as it is adjacent to Midtown Tampa, with the latest attractions and restaurants.”

The company is currently hiring and has plans to add 35 new employees to this office, which would more than triple its local workforce.
The growth is being driven by the influx of people moving to the Tampa Bay area and the demand for project oversight and transportation design projects for local municipalities and the Florida Department of Transportation. Transportation is the firm’s core competency. The 57-year-old engineering consulting firm is working on projects ranging from municipal intersection improvements to large interstate and freeway expansion projects.

“This transaction took over a year from touring the market, deciding the short list, negotiating deal terms, to finalizing the lease,” said Colliers Vice President Joanne LeBlanc. “The space will allow for private offices on the interior and workstations on the window line. As engineers, they spend a lot of time planning, so natural light was important to them.”
Build-out of the space is currently underway. American Structurepoint plans to move into the space Q3 2024.
