1. Clearwater’s city manager, Bill Horne, died Saturday of a suspected heart attack just weeks before retirement. Horne worked with the city for more than 20 years. (WFLA)

2. Tampa burgers-and-beer restaurant chain Ford’s Garage is expanding nationally and plans to add 15 franchises by 2023. The company is also looking for opportunities to partner with local Ford dealerships in each market it enters after having success with a test partnership. (Tampa Bay Times)
3. Willow Brooke Apartments spilled 184,000 gallons of sewage in North Tampa back in July and Hillsborough County is now investigating. Most of the waste went into Hillsborough County’s rainwater drainage system and areas surrounding the complex. (Creative Loafing Tampa)
