Armed Robber Who Dragged Mobil Employee Behind Counter Sought
Detectives are trying to identify a man who robbed the Mobil station at 10002 N. Florida Ave. just after 7 a.m. Friday.

TAMPA, FL — Detectives are trying to identify a man who robbed the Mobil station at 10002 N. Florida Ave. just after 7 a.m. Friday.
The armed Black man, captured on video, can be seen wearing a "Kodak" hooded sweatshirt, fluorescent green gloves, black joggers, black shoes and a black COVID-19 mask.
Police said he was armed with a black handgun when he dragged an employee behind the counter, demanding money. The employee was not injured.

The man left the store and was seen walking west on Linebaugh Avenue from the store immediately after the robbery.
As detectives continue to develop leads in this case, they are asking the community to study the video and contact police with any information by calling 813-231-6130, sending a tip via TIP411 or downloading and using the TampaPD app.
