Arrest Made In Teen’s Fatal Stabbing: Hillsborough County Sheriff
A 19-year-old man was stabbed to death early Sunday at a Tampa apartment complex, the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office said.

TAMPA, FL — A man was arrested for fatally stabbing a 19-year-old in Tampa early Sunday morning, according to a Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office news release.
Michael Aldana, 24, was charged with first-degree murder with a weapon.
HCSO’s communications center received multiple calls at 2:15 a.m. reporting a stabbing at Northgreen at Carrollwood Apartments in Tampa, the agency said.

When they responded, they found the victim, Arnold Gutierrez, with multiple stab wounds. He was brought to St. Joseph’s Hospital, where he later died from his injuries.
Detectives learned that Aldana and Gutierrez had an argument that escalated into a physical confrontation, during which Aldana stabbed Gutierrez multiple times.

"Our hearts go out to the family of the young man whose life was ended in this senseless act of violence," Sheriff Chad Chronister said. "Thanks to our detectives' hard work and dedication, the suspect is in custody. We are committed to ensuring that those who choose violence are held accountable.”
