Authorities Searching for ATM Skimming Suspect

Authorities from the Tampa Police Department are searching for a man they say installed a skimming device at an ATM inside of a south Tampa Publix store.

During a routine check of ATM's at the store, 3518 West Gandy Boulevard, the store's manager noticed a skimming device and camera on the ATM, police say.

She called police, who reviewed a surveillance video and saw the suspect installing a skimming device, police say.

The suspect appears in the video at various times throughout the day wearing different clothes, police say.

Anyone who has used the ATM is being asked to check their account for suspicious activity.
