Barbra Streisand Announces Tampa Show

Barbra Streisand is making a stop at Tampa's Amalie Arena in November.

TAMPA, FL — Barbra Streisand has announced plans to make her first-ever Tampa show stop. The singer is expected to appear on the Amalie Arena stage this November.

Streisand announced the Tampa addition to her “The Music … The Mem’ries … The Magic” tour on Wednesday. In addition to her appearance in Tampa, Streisand has added stops in Fort Lauderdale, Houston and Miami.

The decision to add new dates on the tour was prompted by demand and Streisand’s recent history-making 11th time in the No. 1 slot of the Billboard 200 album chart, an email from Amalie Arenea said.

Streisand is set to go on stage in Tampa at 8 p.m. Nov. 30. Tickets for the show go on sale Sept. 29 at 10 a.m. Prices start at $99 and go up to $510, according to the arena. They’ll be available at the McDonald’s Ticket Office at Amalie Arena and via Ticketmaster outlets, including Ticketmaster.com. Phone orders will be accepted at 800-745-3000.

During her career, Streisand has earned acclaim not only as a recording artist, but also an actor, producer, director and songwriter. She’s won two Oscars, five Emmys, 10 Golden Globes, eight Grammys plus two special Grammys, among many other accolades.
