Reed is filling an opening created when Guy left the role to become the President of St. Joseph’s Hospital, which is located on the same campus as the Children’s and Women’s hospitals. In addition to serving as president of the two hospitals, Reed will be BayCare’s service line leader for women’s and children’s services, spearheading these efforts throughout the health care system.
“I am very excited to have the opportunity to get back to my roots in Women’s and Children’s services. Taking this role feels like ‘coming home’ to me – but in a much warmer climate!” Reed said. “I knew that this was the right place for me as soon as I saw BayCare’s tagline ‘Humanity at Work’ and spent some time with team members at St Joseph’s. It is abundantly clear that they passionately embrace providing extraordinary, customer-centered health care services. ”
