Buccaneers vs. Giants: Everything You Need To Know
Kickoff time, TV, point spread, tickets, parking, traffic and more.
TAMPA, FL – The strange beginning to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers’ 2017 season got even stranger last week.
For starters, the Bucs had their opening week matchup against the Miami Dolphins postponed until November because of Hurricane Irma, leaving both teams playing 16 games in a row. As of Sept. 16, head coach Dirk Koetter said several players and coaches were dealing with being displaced from their home, according to Joe Bucs Fan.
Then, Tampa Bay was defeated by a flu bug days before it took the field in Minnesota on Sunday. Three defensive starters (and seven total players) were out for the 34-17 loss at the hands of the Vikings, despite Jameis Winston throwing for 328 yards and two touchdowns.

Things went from bad to worse when linebacker Lavonte David left the field on a cart late in the fourth quarter. NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport reported David was diagnosed with a high-ankle sprain and is expected to miss a month or more.
The Buccaneers’ next opponent, the New York Giants, have yet to win this year, including a heartbreaking 27-24 loss to their NFC East rival Philadelphia Eagles.
