The Chainsmokers Announce Tampa Show

Amalie Arena will play host to The Chainsmokers as the duo celebrates its upcoming album release with a tour.

TAMPA, FL — Fans of The Chainsmokers have plenty of reasons to celebrate. Not only has the powerhouse duo announced a debut album release, but also a 40-city tour. One of the stops on the upcoming Memories – Do Not Open tour is Tampa’s Amalie Arena.

The duo’s debut album will be released later this year via Columbia Records. The tour kicks off in Miami on April 13 before making its way to Tampa on April 14 at 7 p.m. Kiiara is expected to join the pair at their Tampa performance.

Fans eager to get their hands on the debut album will find a special deal is in the works. “Every ticket purchased online for the tour includes a copy of The Chainsmokers’ forthcoming debut album,” Amalie Arena officials said in announcing the Tampa tour stop.

Tickets for the show go on sale Friday, Feb. 3 at 10 a.m. Tickets will be available at the McDonald’s Ticket office at the arena and through Ticketmaster outlets. Fans may also call 800-745-3000 to place ticket orders by phone. Tickets start at $45.50 and go up to $95.50. The prices don’t include service charges, parking or facility fees.

The album and tour announcements come on the heels of the release of “Paris.” The brand new single has been rising on the charts since its debut. The Chainsmokers are also known for such hits as “Closer” and “Don’t Let Me Down.”

A release date for the album hasn’t been announced.
