Chance The Rapper Sets Tampa Tour Stop

Grammy Award-winning Chance the Rapper has announced an upcoming stop at Tampa's Amalie Arena.

TAMPA, FL — Fresh on the heels of three Grammy Award wins, Chance the Rapper has announced an upcoming tour stop at Tampa’s Amalie Arena. Tickets for the show go on sale Tuesday with the appearance set for June 14 at 8 p.m.

Chance made headlines at this year’s Grammy Awards by raking in three top honors. He was named the Grammy’s Best New Artist and earned Best Rap Performance honors for “No Problems,” which featured Lil Wayne and 2 Chainz. Chance also scored the Best Rap Album award for “Coloring Book,” beating out such performers as Kanye West and Drake.

“Coloring Book” was released last spring with exclusive streaming available on Apple Music. The album was streamed more than 57 million times in the first week, which gave it a No. 8 debut on the Billboard 200.
