1. A Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office (HCSO) deputy who was involved in an off-duty crash on Friday has died. Master Deputy Robert "Bobby" L. Howard, 53, died on Saturday surrounded by loved ones. Law enforcement and the local community are mourning the loss of Howard. (Tampa Patch)
2. Chubby's Super Subs & Pizza is shutting down in Tampa after 40 years of business. The owners said inflation and difficulty finding restaurant employees has helped them decide to close their doors. Many local residents have fond memories of the local business. The restaurant will shut down on Friday. (ABC Action News)
3. Pasco County Schools has passed new cell phones rules, which has some parents concerned that their children will not be able to reach them in an emergency. Children in Pre-K through high school must have their phones on silent and out of sight. However, those from 6th grade to 12th grade will be allowed to use their phones during lunch period. 4. Sean Baker is this year's Voice of TPA winner and a Marine veteran and helicopter pilot. Baker will replace City of Tampa Mayor Jane Castor as the voice on the shuttle at Tampa International Airport greeting new arrivals to the city.
