Colliers launches new Florida retail investment team
The Milano & Coccodrilli Retail Investment Team will provide strategic advisory services to retail investors.

TAMPA, FL, June 2, 2025 – Colliers’ Mike Milano, CCIM, MAI, and Nicholas Coccodrilli have partnered to form The Milano & Coccodrilli Retail Investment Team. The duo has more than 45 years of combined commercial real estate experience and more than $5 billion in completed transactions. They will provide strategic advisory services to retail investors in Tampa Bay and throughout Central Southwest Florida.

Milano has been with Colliers for more than 30 years and is the leader of the Central Southwest Florida Retail Investment division. During his tenure, he has brokered transactions totaling more than $3.7 billion and has consistently been named a top producer by Colliers.

Nicholas Coccodrilli is senior investment analysis director of retail investment services for Colliers. Over the past decade, Coccodrilli has worked with institutional investors nationwide and boutique family offices to close over $1.3 billion in transactions across various asset types.
As Colliers brokers, Milano and Coccodrilli have collaborated together on several deals over the past few years. The duo most notably worked together on the sale of 115,899 square feet of ground-floor retail and office space in Grand Central at Kennedy in Tampa. The space sold for $38.1 million in 2022, making it the largest retail disposition in Tampa’s urban core since 2014 and earning them the 2022 Tampa Bay Business Journal Retail Deal of the Year.
As the Milano & Coccodrilli Retail Investment Team, Milano and Coccodrilli will support investors with assets nationwide, with a special focus on Tampa Bay and the Central Southwest Florida region. Although the team has experience selling all retail property types, they will specialize in multi-tenant retail strip centers, which have become one of the most in-demand property types for both institutional and private client investors. They also will offer a unique skill set tailored to investors with properties that include mixed-use components.
