1. A $38 million renovation is coming to the Tampa Convention Center. It will require re-routing 400 feet of the Tampa Riverwalk directly behind the convention center until November 2022. It is scheduled to be completed by fall of 2023. (Tampa Patch)

2. Prosecutors have dropped felony charges against Tampa Black Lives Matter protesters, citing new evidence. Black Lives Matter Protester Jamie Bullock says she is ready to move on with her life. (Creative Loafing Tampa)
3. The 7th Annual Tampa Bay's Tailgate Taste Fest is returning to Curtis Hixon Waterfront Park on Saturday, October 16, 2021. The event is free to attend and food and drinks will be available for purchase. (ABC Action News)
4. A 2,400-square-foot film studio called Public Studio is opening soon in Tampa's Hyde Park Village between Soul Cycle and Clean Juice Co. An opening date has not been released yet. (That's So Tampa)
