Council Oak Steaks and Seafood launches new 'social hour' menu
The special menu occurs daily from 3PM to 6PM and features bites, entrees, and various libations for guests to enjoy.

Council Oak Steaks and Seafood at Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino Tampa has a new "social hour" menu available for diners to enjoy daily from 3PM to 6PM. The menu has a variety of appetizers, entrees, and libations that guests can indulge in.
The elegant bar located next to the steak house makes for a perfect spot to spend a date or catch up with a friend. Most of the dishes on the menu are large enough to share and the entrees are also generously portioned.

One of the most intriguing options on the menu is the Japanese Wagyu Carpaccio. It's not everyday that you see Japanese Wagyu on a menu in Tampa and at $15 it's an obvious choice for diners to experience. The slice is super thin, but the makes for the perfect match with crostinis. You can taste the bold flavors of the meat with each bite.
Other interesting food choices are the Council Oak Bacon which dry-aged and the Council Oak Prime Burger which features an 8 oz. dry-aged prime beef with an egg on-top.

On the cocktail list I tried the Council Oak Rum Runner during my visit and it was on the sweeter side with guava nectar in the mix that is impossible to miss. Other options are the Vanilla Paloma, Improved Manhattan, and Red Sangria (made with orange vodka).
Council Oak Steaks and Seafood is an award-winner with a focus on 100% U.S.D.A. prime steaks and has been recognized since 2008 by Wine Spectator for offering more than 300 wines from more than 13 countries. A small sample of these wines are available on the social hour menu with many California wines, a New Zealand wine, and an Argentina wine available at a special price.
Local craft beer powerhouse, Cigar City Brewing is also on the social hour menu. The brewery was recently recognized by Paste Magazine as one of the best breweries of the decade. You can sip their Jai Alai IPA for just $5 during social hour.
