2. Four principals and assistant principals in Hillsborough County have accused one of their bosses of gender bias and racial bias. Human Resources has sided with the accused, but groups are speaking out. (Tampa Bay Times)

3. Rep. Vern Buchanan from Sarasota is introducing legislation that would permanently classify fentanyl as a Schedule I drug and permanently allow law enforcement to prosecute people who manufacture, distribute or handle fentanyl-related substances. The bill has support from Hillsborough County Sheriff Chad Chronister, Manatee County Sheriff Rick Wells, and Sarasota County Sheriff Kurt Hoffman. (WUSF)
