1. City of Tampa Mayor Jane Castor and Tampa Bay Rays owner Stu Sternberg met Tuesday for their first official meeting to talk about building a baseball stadium in Ybor City. The proposed site once housed K-Force headquarters off Nuccio and 7th Avenue. The Rays are still pursuing a split city plan with Montreal at this time. (Fox 13 Tampa)

2. Tampa firefighters are speaking out about pension delays and lack of injury pay. A representative says it's taking 6 to 8 months to get paperwork back from the pension board when firefighters apply. City council members have asked for more information on December 16th. (Creative Loafing)

3. Publix heiress and former board member Carol Jenkins Barnett has died at age 65. She was diagnosed with younger-onset Alzheimer’s disease in 2016. A memorial service is planned for 11 a.m. on Saturday, December 11th in Lakeland. (Spectrum News 13)

4. 35-year-old Christopher Buonocore of New York will spend 15 years in federal prison for cyberstalking 6 Tampa Bay women. Buonocore has also been ordered to pay $164,295 in restitution to his victims. (Tampa Patch)

5. Seminole City Council voted against the construction of an affordable housing complex for disabled residents and veterans on Tuesday after nearly a decade of planning. The 5-2 decision comes amid an affordable housing crisis across Tampa Bay. The Pinellas Housing Authority was left shocked. (Tampa Bay Times)
