2. The Florida Board of Education issued an order Friday to Alachua and Broward counties school districts “demanding that they comply with state statute and rule." The department said it will then begin withholding state funds on a monthly basis “an amount equal to 1/12 of the total annual compensation of the school board members who voted to impose the unlawful mask mandates until each district demonstrates compliance.” (WFLA)

4. An increase in SNAP benefits could help more than 1.5 million eligible people around Tampa Bay. The average monthly per-person benefits for qualified recipients will rise from $121 to $157. (WTSP)
