1. A judge ruled on Monday that the deal forged by the state and the Seminole tribe violates federal law. The 30-year gambling compact gave the Seminoles control over sports betting in the state and allowed Vegas-style games at the Hard Rock casinos. The state believes the ruling will be appealed. 2. Downtown Tampa has a new, fully-automated transportation shuttle operated by HART and BEEP Inc. The driverless shuttle is 100% electric and costs less than $30 per month to charge. It runs along the Tampa Riverwalk from Monday to Sunday from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. The shuttle picks up riders at Armature Works, Water Works Park and the Straz Center. (Creative Loafing)

3. Next Level Brands will open its third restaurant concept called Boulon Brasserie next year at Water Street Tampa. It will pay homage to the traditional French bistro combining quality food, wine, and company. (Patch Tampa)

4. Chill Bros. Ice Cream opens inside South Tampa's Epicurean Hotel this December. The ice cream shop will be open 7 days a week. Epicurean will also house the ice cream company’s new production facility. (That's So Tampa)

5. A St. Petersburg police officer has been removed from patrol duties and put on administrative leave after being charged with DUI, a department spokesperson said. 26-year-old Officer Cody Csendom was arrested after 3:14 a.m. Monday on Big Bend Road in Riverview when he went off the road and hit several TECO power poles.
