Here are the top stories in Tampa today:
1. A water leak at a downtown Tampa high-rise apartment complex has flooded 27 floors of the building and caused an evacuation. Fire crews inspected every floor and found the cause of the flooding was a breach in the main municipal water supply line inside the building. (Patch)

2. Governor DeSantis has urged the Cuba protesters to stop blocking traffic. DeSantis tried to differentiate the recent protests over Cuba from those last year after the death of George Floyd. (WLFA)
3. Scallop harvest season is underway in Pasco County despite red tide and will run until July 25th. Tampa Bay won't prevent divers from participating in this once-a-year opportunity. It is being promoted due to the economic boost it brings to Pasco County each year, including about $500,000 in economic impact. (Patch)
4. Red Star Rock Bar in Seminole Heights is closing down on July 20th. They will close out with a comedy show starring John Jacobs, Sean Harper, Deandra, Cara Milburg, Clark Brooks, Jon Silman and Matt Carter. (Creative Loafing Tampa)
5. A 68-year old Tampa man who has been battling COVID since Thanksgiving is urging everyone to get vaccinated. He spent 8 months in the hospital and a long-term care facility. (Fox 13 Tampa Bay)
