TAMPA, FL — Tampa police are investigating a crash Wednesday night that killed one driver and left another hospitalized. According to Tampa police, at 11:24 p.m., a Nissan Maxima was traveling west on Busch Boulevard East and turned south onto Nebraska Avenue. A Mercedes SUV was headed east on Busch Boulevard East and crashed into the Nissan as it turned in the path of the SUV. The driver of the Nissan Maxima was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the Mercedes SUV was taken to the hospital.
