DUI Checkpoint Announced By Tampa Police
Tampa Police have announced a one-night DUI checkpoint.

TAMPA, FL — Motorists with big party plans over the weekend might want to think twice before getting behind the wheel impaired. The Tampa Police Department has announced a one-night DUI checkpoint.
According to the agency, the checkpoint will take place near East Sligh Avenue and North Dixon Avenue from 10 p.m. to 1 a.m. Friday, Jan. 20 to Saturday, Jan. 21.
The checkpoint is part of a $191,000 Florida Department of Transportation grant the police department received.
