1. A federal judge quickly rejected Florida’s request to block a Biden administration requirement that workers at hospitals, nursing homes and other health-care providers be vaccinated against COVID-19. The judge wrote Florida had not shown "irreparable harm" to justify an injunction or temporary restraining order. (Fox 13 Tampa)

2. The 6th Annual Uke It Out will happen this coming weekend on both sides of Tampa Bay. The festival will be held at New World Brewery and Cage Brewing on December 3rd and December 4th. Tickets are $17 per person ages 12 and older when purchased in advance and $20 per person at the door. Kids ages 12 and under are free. (Creative Loafing)

3. Governor Ron DeSantis is proposing more than $1 billion in gas tax relief through Florida's legislature. DeSantis says Floridians would see a 25-cent decrease at the pump if passed. Earlier this month, Democratic Rep. Charlie Crist called on DeSantis to freeze Florida's gas tax for the holiday season. (WTSP)

4. Black, Hispanic and Asian Santas, as well as signing and foreign language-speaking Santas, are becoming more common as brands embrace diversity, including Walt Disney World and Old Navy. International Plaza hosted the area's first signing Santa for children who are deaf or hearing impaired on Sunday. Children were invited to give their Christmas wishes to Santa using American Sign Language. (Patch Florida)

5. Tampa General Hospital has launched a new program to help veterans stay physically, mentally, and emotionally healthy after retirement called Home Base Warrior Health and Fitness Program. The program is free for veterans. Each veteran is matched with a personal trainer and dietitian, who come up with a personalized plan for their needs. (ABC Action News)
