Felon Hid In U-Haul While Fleeing From Deputies In Tampa: Watch
After refusing to pull over for deputies, a known felon drove off and hid in the back of a U-Haul truck in Tampa, the sheriff's office said.

TAMPA, FL — A felon fleeing from deputies Wednesday afternoon was found hiding in a U-Haul truck in Tampa Wednesday afternoon, the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office wrote in a Facebook post. (Watch an aerial video of deputies finding the suspect below.)
The agency’s K9 and Aviation sections were called to help the Street Crimes Unit after a known felon, Tynan Hutchinson, 24, fled a traffic stop and recklessly drove onto the Selmon Expressway in Tampa around 3:30 p.m.
The Tampa Police Department also attempted a traffic stop, at which point Hutchinson tried to ram into one of their vehicles, HCSO said.

Members of the agency’s Aviation Section spotted the suspect’s vehicle in a U-Haul parking lot on West Gandy Boulevard.
They saw Hutchinson run out of his car and into the back of a U-Haul. He was taken into custody without incident.

"Thanks to the coordinated efforts of our Street Crimes Unit, K9 and Aviation Sections, along with the support from the Tampa Police Department, we successfully arrested this known criminal who had no consideration for the lives he put at risk when he fled from our deputies," Sheriff Chad Chronister said. "This arrest highlights our deputies' exceptional teamwork and dedication to keeping our community safe."
