North Rome Avenue Lanes Open After Fire
Tampa Police closed a stretch of North Rome Avenue Wednesday morning due to a fire.

TAMPA, FL — Update: All lanes on North Rome Avenue have reopened to traffic following a Wednesday morning fire.
Earlier: Motorists are being asked to avoid a stretch of North Rome Avenue Wednesday morning due to a structure fire.
According to the Tampa Police Department, the north- and southbound lanes on Rome Avenue are closed from West Hillsborough Avenue to West Comanche Avenue. As of 10:39 a.m. March 30, police expected the closing to last at least an hour.
