1. Florida author and photographer, Gary Monroe, who extensively covers art in Florida, is bringing his own art collection to Tampa Museum of Art this November for a special exhibit. (Creative Loafing Tampa)

2. The Florida Aquarium has released three rehabilitated sea turtles back to the Atlantic Ocean. They were initially found in March off the east coast of Florida after a cold-stun event and were taken into care for nearly 5 months. (WTSP)

3. Teachers in Sarasota were declared "essential workers" amid a worker shortage. Asymptomatic teachers with COVID-19 will be sent to work instead of being required to quarantine and be required to wear a mask at work. (Sarasota Patch)

4. Lori Collins, head of the new Center for Digital Heritage and Geospatial Information at USF, is using laser scanners and other digital equipment to document and recreate historic Tampa. The images can be used for restoring or rebuilding historic structures and much more. (Fox 13 Tampa Bay)

5. Feeding Tampa Bay created a furloughed workers program that brings on extra temporary and full-time staff. The non-profit used the program to bring more talent and grow as demand has soared for aid during the pandemic. (St. Pete Catalyst)
